The Two Reasons We’re Here (in this physical experience called life)

Love + Shifting out of Ego and Into Spirit

We’re here in this physical experience called life for two very important reasons.

Number one: to learn we’re that which we came from…pure love and light.

Number two: to extend the truth of what we are (Love) into the world, as a way of helping others recognize this truth within.

All of your inner transformational work is meant to lead you to consciously recognizing the truth of what you are. Once that’s been completed the only remaining thing to do is to extend love into the world, however it chooses to flow through you.

However, the ability to fully extend love into the world rests on your decision to show up and do your inner work.

The inner work that lies ahead of each of us is to remove all blocks to love’s presence…to withdraw the value we’ve been giving to ego’s perception of truth in order to open to that which lies beyond ego.

It’s important to note that ego can only hold sway in our awareness if we give it the power to do so, which, unfortunately, is something we do every time we believe it represents the truth of what we are (i.e., our agreement to every psychological identification and attachment that ego would have us believe makes up our personal sense of self).

Fortunately, this can all be reversed through your commitment to the two purposes shared above.

Committing to doing the inner work necessary to know the truth of what you are so that you can become an extension of love allows you to use your everyday experiences to a new end. Instead of living life as if you’re experiencing the effect of your experiences, you begin to see that within each of your experiences is the seed of truth…no matter what type of experience it is.

When something is taken from you, you’re no longer at the mercy of “bad luck” (a victim to forces outside of you); instead, within that experience is the conscious recognition that what you truly are can never be effected by the external conditions of the world.

The experience gives you a choice, depending on how you choose to see your time in the physical realm. You can either see it as an opportunity to burn up that which is not real (ego) or you can choose to live in accordance with what ego values as truth (the illusion).

How the situation is used is determined by what you value…awakening to truth/love or continuing to function in ego’s illusion.

The more anchored you become in living your life with the express purpose of consciously recognizing and extending that which you are (pure love and light) into the world, the easier this choice becomes.

And, of course, the quicker you open to using your experiences to awaken to truth, the more speed you gain on the path. So make a habit of disciplining yourself to no notice what you’re valuing.

Any time you emotionally react (which is a clear indication that some component to your ego’s sense of self has been disturbed), ask yourself: Do I choose to use this experience to burn up ego or to allow ego to continue to run me?

Disciplining yourself to continuously come back to this choice positions you to begin examining all aspects of the sense of self that ego has led you to believe is true, such that you begin to know yourself beyond ego.

I encourage you to keep doing this over and over, until it becomes second nature. Then, sit back, relax and notice how a once somewhat tumultuous relationship with life has begun to turn to peace.

This is the point at which you begin to anchor in the peace that passes all understanding.

To Valuing Truth,

Shanna
