How To Set Boundaries From A Place of Peace & Power

Love + Shifting out of Ego and Into Spirit

After just about every talk I give, someone brings up a question around boundaries. It makes sense…

I passionately speak about aligning with love. Said person likes what I’m saying, but can’t reconcile it with the urge to protect them from the latest situation where they feel taken advantage of.

And, then, I realize the disconnect…

They’re interpreting being loving as never saying “no”, which kicks ego into overdrive as it lists out all the reasons being loving will leave them vulnerable to being taken advantage of…

With the option for love dangling precariously in the balances, I work quickly to show them how saying “no” and “being loving” actually do go hand-in-hand! And hopefully, it’s mission accomplished for Team Love!

Which brings me to today’s video—Team Love’s answer…

P.S. If you’re struggling with setting boundaries (or any other issue related to shifting out of ego into spirit), I offer one-on-one coaching sessions. Contact me here to speak further. I’m running an end-of-year special…half off first session and one free session if you book 4 sessions.

P.P.S. I wrote about my personal struggle with setting boundaries in A Call to the Heart in the essays, “Giving and Feeling the Space to Say No” and “Got Poop? The Third Option”. (I still can’t believe I published an essay with “poop” in the title)! You can grab a copy at Amazon or online at Barnes & Noble.
