Investigating Your Own Motives
What if you stopped?
Completely stopped the momentum that’s running you and decided to investigate it.
Most of us are being run by dead end momentum.
Momentum based in fear.
Fear of not being enough (proving/avoiding momentum).
Fear of not making it (scarcity/self-doubt momentum).
Fear of what others would think if you stopped and changed directions (social validation momentum).
Fear of meeting and facing yourself (avoiding momentum).
Fear of being seen nakedly vulnerable in your insecurities (hiding/protecting momentum).
Fear of an identity crisis (who am I without “this” in place momentum).
Fear of not knowing what to do without following what others do and deem normal (mass conditioning momentum).
Fear of losing psychological things that make you feel safe and strong (boasting/protecting momentum).
What if you began to investigate the momentum that’s currently running you and decided that fear no longer had a pull over you?
Who are you without those fearful thoughts in place?
What would you choose to do without those fearful energetic pulls in place?
What would motivate you?
Some fear laziness.
Some fear their world would fall apart without that fearful glue in place.
In my experience, this has only led me to truer motivations of my heart.
In some degree or another I have faced all of those false momentums in myself.
And I’m willing to keep facing the fearful parts of my nature so I continually purify and crystallize my energy into deeper levels of truth.
Here’s what I know and believe:
Fear does not lead us to truth.
It does just the opposite…
…serving as a mote barricading us from Truth’s entrance.
To enter Truth, we must muster the courage and fortitude to face all the ways fear is running us.
The biggest difference I notice between my willingness to look at fear and other people’s desire to avoid looking is…
I believe looking will bring me closer to the truth of my nature, whereas…
…others believe it will confirm something about themselves that they do not want to see.
So this keeps them on a continual loop of not looking while I’m willing to expedite the process.
Avoidance does not serve your soul.
It keeps you bound to fearful patterns that continually block you from knowing your soul nature.
If you can increase your desire for knowing your soul nature, you’ll gain the necessary courage to begin investigating your fearful patterns.
Also, if you can begin to see that what you fear confirming about yourself (from a fearful place) can NEVER represent what you truly are…
…you’ll become more willing to begin investigating these patterns in yourself.
These patterns are blocks to knowing your SOUL.
They DO NOT represent ultimate truths about you.
The belief that they can is what’s holding you back from looking…
…and keeping you stuck in their firm grip.
In my book, A Call to the Heart, I vulnerably share my personal process in doing this investigation.
But it felt way less vulnerable than you’d think, because I was already on the side of feeling the benefits of what looking at these patterns and dissolving them offered me.
I openly shared my process (and have continued to do so) in hopes that it would inspire others to begin looking at their own patterns.
I chose to light the way by being an open example of someone who decided to face the patterns that weren’t serving me and, instead, choosing ones that did serve me.
May we all find the courage and fortitude to heal our fearful conditioning.
May we set ourselves free to live and explore this world from our soul.
And may we be a light for others in doing so.
Always Shine Brightly,
Shanna
