Discovering & Purifying Your Purpose
I believe everyone has a calling or purpose.
But it often takes effort to discover it (not everyone is willing to do this).
It can be a frustrating process, especially if you’re relying on it for your salvation, fulfillment and/or peace (I experienced this).
The frustration is an indication you’re coming from lack—the idea that something is missing—versus abundance.
Which is exactly what I was doing in my discovery process.
I felt like all would be well if I only knew my purpose. Then, I could apply myself to this thing called “my purpose”.
So around and around I went in cycles of pursuit and frustration each time the pursuit led to a dead end.
I had to heal the idea that something was missing.
I had to recognize the fearful chase for personal fulfillment, stop the cycle completely and recognize that nothing is actually missing.
I’m whole and complete as I am, regardless of a particular purposeful endeavor.
It’s through the recognition that we’re fine/enough/whole/worthy/safe as we are that a true shift in our energy occurs.
We move from fearful chasing to naturally expressing from a state of inner overflow.
This much more natural expression of inner overflow is purposeful in whatever form it takes.
The form is secondary. The energy you’re coming from is primary.
Most people miss this completely.
So they go on fearfully chasing their worth, significance, peace, safety, etc. through the idea that the thing they’re chasing will somehow complete them.
And it may feel as if it temporarily does complete you.
But the feeling will be fleeting.
Which is what makes a portion of the expression based in fear, instead of being fully based in love.
I believe one of our highest purposes is to purify where we’re coming from in our outer expression.
The more fear we clean up and remove from our energy stream, the more purposeful and powerful our energy becomes, however it’s expressed.
So if you don’t know your purpose (or even if you’re in pursuit of your purpose), one of the most purposeful things you can do is to shift where you’re coming from.
Notice where you’re fearfully chasing something in hopes of feeling, worthy, significant, peaceful, fulfilled and/or safe.
Notice where you’re attaching to the fruits of your labor to feel these things.
Then work to purify where you’re coming from.
Get still.
Observe the fearful nature of the pattern(s) at play.
Notice how you’re using an outcome to feel okay and inwardly bring yourself to feeling okay without needing a particular outcome.
See that you’re 100% okay without adding anything to yourself (which is what you’re doing when you attach to the fruits of your labor).
Say to yourself:
I’m whole and complete just as I am.
I’m worthy just as I am.
I’m significant because I’m a child of God.
I’m at peace regardless of what is or isn’t happening in my life.
I’m safe as I am. I don’t need to compensate in any way, shape or form to feel safe.
It’s safe for me to rest in who I am.
Sit in stillness until these affirmations begin to take root in you.
Be willing to break the compulsive patterns that falsely chase these things that only you can know by slowing down, getting quiet and going within.
Create a daily habit of doing this so this process become second nature.
This is shifting your energy from fear to love, where your natural expressions become more purposeful through this purification process.
You will naturally move into an inner state of overflow.
You’ll naturally be guided to people, places and situations where your service is being called forth.
If your outer purpose is meant to take a specific form for a time being (you’re called to a project or endeavor), this will be revealed.
And even if you’re not called to a specific form of service, you’re still in service by simply being you.
You’ll naturally say or do what serves the highest outcome in a given situation.
Understanding and shifting where I’m coming from is what continues to reveal my purpose to me.
It’s an ongoing process, where I’m consistently observing and shifting where I’m coming from.
I believe this is the highest work we can do for ourselves and the collective, especially now as fear has ramped up in the collective.
Remember, one person vibrating at (or emitting) frequencies higher than fear can offset as many as 750,000 people caught in fear. Countering fear is extremely purposeful.
