The Quickest Way To Align With Your Life’s Purpose!

Do you feel a deep stirring in your heart that wants to be expressed, but you just don’t know how to do it?  Do you believe there is something more for you out there, but lack an awareness of what that is?  Or do you just feel plain sick of your 8-5, dreading it with every fiber of your being, but lack an understanding regarding what to do with that sense of frustration?

I spent more than ten years zigging and zagging through life in an attempt to align with my heart’s desires.  10. Years.  That’s a long time!  Want in on a little secret that I learned at the very end of those 10 years?  A lil’ secret that will save you years of trial and error…a lil’ secret that will place you smack dab in the middle of the plans that you were sent here to complete…a lil’ secret that will set you heart on fire with more passion than you’ve ever known…

SURRENDER!  Specifically, to a power far greater than you.

That’s it.

Now, here comes the big question…what was your reaction to this answer?  Were you ticked-off at me?  Did you scoff?  Did you roll your eyes?  Did you feel scared?  Did you feel like surrender equaled a loss of control?  Did you feel let down, thinking the answer would give you clearer direction?

What came up for you?

Write it down, because this is the information that you need to begin looking at as a part of your process for aligning with the plans and purposes that have been divinely orchestrated for your life.  This is how you begin “showing up” for the assignments that I have been referencing throughout my last few blogs.  This is how you begin working through all of the fears that ego has been using to keep you from knowing the desire’s of your heart.  As you begin working through and dispelling these fears, your direct line to God (or your higher-self or whatever term you’re comfortable with) begins to open up.  If you’re like me when I began this journey to know my heart’s desires, your connection may be buried in mud.  That’s okay.  You willingness to begin the process is what allows this connection to come into your awareness.

God and any other guides that you may connect with in the non-physical world, be it intuition, your higher-self, angels, etc. are all around you waiting for you to give the all clear for the communication to come into your awareness.  Give the ALL CLEAR so that you can get on with the business of carrying out the plans that have been set for you! =)

If you want to feel connected to your purpose and passion for your life’s work, I encourage you not to skip this process.  In fact, I encourage you to begin capturing all that came up for you when your ego-mind tried to stop you from doing this process.  Those are more assignments!  More blocks to uncover and remove so that your role in the divine plan can become visible to you.

Aligning with your divine role is absolutely vital to the collective expression of love.  And guess what, when we each align with and express ourselves from our authentic self, all of our individual frustration dissolves.  How could it not, if we are each carrying out the plans that we were sent here to complete?

My ability to align with my heart’s desires didn’t come because of the ten years I spent searching for it, it came as a result of surrendering my will to God’s will for my life.  The same is true for you.  The act of surrender opens up our awareness to what has been always been around us, urging us to go in the specific direction of God’s plan for us.  When we let go of trying to figure everything out on our own, the biggest barrier to this communication channel is dissolved.  Our ego will use anything it can to blind us to this truth.  That’s where the resistance to surrendering comes from…ego knows if we accept this truth, its use of fear has lost its hold over us.  The act of surrender liberates us from ego’s stronghold over our life.  I encourage you to keep this in mind as you approach surrender, as it will help you to shine light on the various fears that ego is trying to use to keep you bound to it.

There is a love and light that has been placed inside of you.  When you make the decision to begin “showing up” for life, you’ve committed to reaching and expressing this love and light in the specific manner in which you were intended to do so, as a part of the divine plan.  I know this might seem challenging and scary, but once you create momentum and begin to feel and experience your own love and light, you’ll never want to abandon this path.  I believe in you.  You can do this.
