Be a Pioneer for Creating a Reality Based in Love

Love

As I was flying out to Nashville this morning I tried to imagine being in the time and place where the idea of flying was first being shared…

Can you imagine someone selling you on the idea of getting in a steel beast that would take you 30,000 feet in the air, stay there for a few hours and somehow land at your destination?

We accept this as absolutely normal today, but an early subset of the population had to be brave enough to break away from everything they’d previously agreed to as normal and risk finding out if this new way of interacting in the world could be possible.

They held the initial energy for what eventually became a part of our new consensus reality.

This is no different from breaking away from a belief system full of fear, doubt and lack to anchor in one rooted in love, faith and abundance.

You have to be brave enough to stand a part from the current consensus (which is primarily operating through fear, doubt and lack), risk the consensus not understanding you, and boldly hold energy for an entirely new …

Love + Personal Responsibility

A major part of the awakening process is recognizing that we have a choice in determining the world we perceive. Prior to realizing this, it feels as if the world we perceive dictates the thoughts we have about it.

The things that occur in our life appear to cause us to have a …

Fun and Silly + Love

Any time I head out to a remote area like my trip to west Texas this past weekend, I mentally prepare myself to go without a mocha for a few days (yes, I know, it’s pretty sad that this takes actual mental preparation!).

However, if I catch wind that there might be a coffee shop in the area (with a real espresso machine), I’m like a Chihuahua that latches onto a pant leg and won’t let go…I’ll stop at nothing to find the place!

Marfa, TX proved to be quite the adventure, in this regard…

Good ole Google let me know that there were not one, but TWO potential coffee shops in town. Marfa is a bit of an oasis in this way.

I decided to go with the one that had the quirkier name—Do Your Thing Coffee (the competing option was Big Bend Coffee Roasters…not near as fun).

The next morning, my friend, Crystal, and I headed out in search of the coffee shop with our handy iPhone as our guide. The GPS coordinates led us here:

Marfa Coffee Shop Adventure_GPS …
