A New Approach to New Year’s Resolutions

Love + Shifting out of Ego and Into Spirit

I meet you this week on the eve of the New Year, concluding 2013 with my 83rd blog post! Thank you to all who have been with me since my very first post and thanks to those of you who have joined somewhere along the way…I’m absolutely honored to share my thoughts with you each week. =)

Keeping with the New Year’s theme, this week’s post is focused on taking a deeper look at the particular motivation behind the resolutions that we set for ourselves.

As a culture engrained in the idea of needing to change something, whether it’s starting, stopping, adding or subtracting to feel fulfillment, our resolutions offer us a special opportunity to examine our entire approach to finding and experiencing lasting fulfillment and happiness.

Are we setting goals from a place that allows us to know lasting fulfillment or are we setting ourselves up to only experience fleeting happiness?

In today’s video I share my personal litmus test for making this determination…
